As a resident of SLC, it’s insane that my congressional district includes rural areas literally hundreds of miles away just to break up my heavily liberal neighborhood. It’s also illegal, since we passed a ballot initiative banning the practice. The ghouls in the legislature will stop at nothing.

To address the headline itself, the politically incorrect truth of the matter is that if you want reactionary bigotry, you do not deserve to get what you want. The Beltway moderate PC police call this elitist and disparaging of Republicans. They can say what they wish; it is what it is.
why are there rarely articles written about liberals in red state urban centers (e.g. Salt Lake City) being gerrymandered into some rural conservative representative?

How are these fits of presidential incontinence never covered as their own news events in NYT? Hours of sick hateful bile from the curdled joyless leader of the Christian nationalists sitting in the ruins of the tinsel trimmed White House he’s demolishing — seems like a story to me.

I have no idea which this would fall under because I’d be speculating without sufficient details. But I doubt each tampon has a printed campaign disclosure. And if it’s not for the purpose of influencing her election, the permissible uses are much more narrow and I’m not sure how it’d qualify.
