So I have to admit something slightly embarrassing. I didn't get the Sir Pentious pun until the show pointed it out. Doubly embarrassing cause I'm a fan of GI Joe and am used to snake puns and even like the character Serpentor which is one syllable off!

It feels like some of the viewers of Helluva & Hazbin have some kind of amnesia, because it feels like every few months they need to relearn that these shows are soap operas about finding family and forgiveness at their cores. Like it ALWAYS surprises them.

One thing I was sure of that's been proven right is there's no punishment to deal breaking beyond the deal being nullified. So we can stop talking about Vaggie's “deal”. They never even shook it was just to establish deals as a thing if you hadn't seen the pilot.

Started watching #hazbinhotel in Japanese. I can't STAND luficer's voice. It's fine when he's singing, but that old man voice is obnoxious.

So is Heaven actually homophobic, or just the leaders of the Exorcists? I had taken the “vile and blasphemous,” line in S1 as metaphor, that was literally about angel/demon relations.

I think Vox will be the edge case that proves Charlie's thesis that even the worst person can be redeemed. He's had an “I want,” song, so should learn what he needs instead, asked Charlie if he could be redeemed, and from his flashback with Alastor he believed in friendship.
