my dad is a big fan of small British roadsters (esp. MG), and 20 something years ago he sent me this short story from one of his forums about SUVs dominating the road and hunting down a sports car driver and driving them to a fatal crash

it was terribly written, but i think about it offten

Was finally diagnosed this year after probably having OCD for most of my adulthood. Nobody would listen to me because "you don't have OCD, you just hyperfixate on your anxious thoughts too much." That cracks me up now when I think about it.

this has nothing to do with the context of this post but one particular word when i was an ESL tutor, the grammar book that my employer wanted me to use had a section on "themself" and other common "improper" usages i realized that this was not an issue for my students and skipped it i realized i was nonbinary later, and that page is stuck in my brain as one of the cracks in my egg
