The wealthiest, won't mind a frequent flyer tax, they'll just pay it, so it may not reduce emissions. We need an air mile allocation per person, per year. Non-transferable, so it doesn't become a tradable commodity and price the less well off out of being able to fly.

I think, every so often, about how the student protesters in South Korea figured out there was a finite supply of tear gas, and then staged retreating marches that caused police to burn off most of it, before the big "bring your auntie and kids" marches that ultimately toppled the dictatorship.

The reason no one stood out to help saving lives in poor countries is the same as the western leaders’ indifference to the suffering in Gaza: racism. Bill gates has long been saying the poor people need to have less children. This is what racism in 21st century looks like.
Elon Musk and Marco Rubio may manage to kill more people than RFK Jr., although it may be a tough competition.
They may well be responsible for more deaths in the 21st Century than Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot were in the 20th Century.
