In 1989, Neil Young was part of a US/Russia cultural exchange that fell apart. His guitarist said, “Man, I guess we're just gonna have to keep on rockin’ in the free world.”

“Poncho,” said Young, “that's a good line. I'm gonna use that.”

Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

Another problem starts to take form - you can’t go after any of these people (Thiel, Landon, Summers, Wolff etc) and not go after Trump too. They’re all on the same team.

Funny how Trump’s refusal to use emails or a computer is the main thing that hasn’t yet ended him

There were literally congressional hearings where whistleblowers in the insurance industry cried while discussing being forced by superiors to repeatedly illegally deny payment for lifesaving care in the run up to the passage of the ACA. That’s what republicans want us to return to.
Tom Emmer: "You're gonna have to create high risk pools again. Just go back where Minnesota was before the ACA."

Right? This man is an idiot and it's just cruel. Try to buy a guaranteed acceptance life insurance policy. It's like $150/month for $10,000 in coverage. It's a joke. Health insurance in a high risk pool would cost thousands and thousands per month. And many of those people are on SSDI!!
Yeah, man, because putting all the people who need expensive care in one pool has never blown up in an unsustainable, out of control spiral every time it's been tried.

Even going down this road should get you yanked by a huge hook or sucked down a trap door you didn't know was there.

CNN says Bondi, Blanche and Patel met with Boebert at the WH on Wed, regarding her vote on the discharge petition. It's reported Boebert is attending emergency WH talks ahead of the vote.
You do not need to be a behaviorist, psychic or lumberjack to feel Trump's panic over what is in these files.

Q: Is the president considering a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell?

LEAVITT: It's not something he's talking about or even thinking about at this moment in time

She's not just swimming upstream in this clip, she's actively drowning from the effort 😬
Q: Given you answers about transparency, why are WH officials meeting with Boebert in an effort to get her to not sign the Epstein files petition?

LEAVITT: Doesn't it show transparency that members of the Trump administration are willing to brief members of Congress?

I think it's safe to say at this point that the POTUS is deeply involved in, as Stringer Bell would say, a criminal fuckin' conspiracy that is rapidly unraveling, and he is quickly dragging in everyone around him. Those who do not jump ship today will find no lifeboats left tomorrow.

i mean c’mon. the president’s best friend was the most notorious pedo in the country’s history who ran a massive child trafficking ring. every bit of circumstantial evidence we have says that trump was a participant. if this were a criminal trial we’d have enough evidence to compel a plea deal.

This headline is journalistic malpractice. This isn't Epstein "alleging" that Trump knew. This is Epstein and Maxwell discussing - in 2011, long before Trump had political salience - how the FACT that Trump knew might play out

Both of them took as a given that this was a fact in a private email
