It would be nice if polls or pundits credited the Democrat gains last Tuesday on something other than the shutdown or kitchen table issues - how about the president is nuts, I miss empathy, I don't like seeing pedophiles protected, or my fellow Trumpers are starting to creep me out - ?

I'm puzzled by the confusion over MTG. Allow me:
Every GOP elected official is all or mostly performative, knows Trump is unhinged, and almost all have put greed, power and ambition over oath. AND - they're totally craven.
Marge is less craven than others and sees a non-Trump future more imminently.

I'm still blown away that over 8M voters showed up in CA to vote on Prop 50, in an off year, with NOTHING ELSE on the ballot. Very glad to now hear officials in Virginia (yay, blue Virginia!) and Colorado join Maryland with plans to take redistricting action there too.

In Georgia, Dems won two Public Service Commissioner seats, one by 20 points.
Dems flipped 2 seats in Mississippi, breaking a GOP supermajority in the State Senate.

These numbers are really good. Dems have outperformed in virtually every single county. Turnout is through the roof. Young people have skewed very strongly Dem. :)
