The ICE invasion is perhaps best understood as the President engaging in a (for now) low-intensity civil war against the parts of the country that didn’t vote for him.

Democrats, retired or in office, who act like only the 7 who voted for the ICE funding bill are to blame need to shut the fuck up. House Dems *didn't whip the vote.* That is a profoundly clear statement of support for ICE. People are being executed in the street and you didn't whip the fucking vote.

This is the way. Any 2028 Dem candidates need to start saying that on Day One: (1) all ICE agents fired; (2) pensions/benefits defunded; (3) forced to pay backpay as restitution to victims; and (4) only way to avoid prison is to become a cooperating informant
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.
