Rebecca was one of the founders of Interplay and programmed & designed for some of the most influential games of my youth, notably Bard's Tale I & III and Wasteland. She will be missed.

I can understand asking for nuance in these discussions, but deliberately muddying the water by bringing up automation tools that people understand are not generative AI and asking for a middle ground is disingenuous. The nuanced position is that people are roundly rejecting the tech, respect that.

Starting in on another classic this Stockpile Sunday with Future Boy Conan, and dang, the level of animation on display here is impressive for the era. It's also surprisingly serialized too, even with some more episodic beats it's all chasing a larger narrative (and cliffhanging me tonight).
