According to this ranking, Canada’s reputation has improved since 2024. We are now the 2nd most reputable country in the world.

Problem for Canadians west of Ontario - time is prime trick or treat time. Set up a candy bowl on top of a tall planter, then blocked the walkway with it. Decorated it nicely for the trick or treaters and now we are watching the Blue Jays in peace! #WANTITALL 🇨🇦

He did not get recognition from political leaders or even much news coverage

Beware of any politician doing this. It’s a major red flag of the most cynical political opportunism, weaponization of lies & misinformation, and manipulation of some consultant’s idea of a “wedge issue.” It would waste public money, risk or even cost lives, weaken the city, make traffic worse, etc.
Current Mayor of Christchurch New Zealand Phil Mauger is campaigning for reelection on basis of ripping out bike lanes! This for a city that used to be famous for cycle friendly infrastructure before earthquakes of 2010 and 2011!

Watching what I can of the ACIP meeting; currently on COVID in kids; yes, kids still getting hospitalized. 1 in 4 end up in ICU. Most are unvaccinated, deaths are rare but are occurring (23 since 2023). Yes, that is far more than the deaths from COVID vaccines (zero) #factsmatter

Many of us have been sounding the alarm since early March. Over 200 people, mostly children, have needlessly suffered. I'm glad the province is finally encouraging vaccination, but it's at least 6 weeks too late to stop that steep curve from climbing much higher.
