As Sean says, don't take career advice from Nepo Babies.

I have a degree in Women's Studies & I can't tell you how many "basket weaving" jokes I heard as a student. It's not only a lazy dudebro quip à la Bootstrapping, it's also sexist as hell. Treating woman-coded artisans as useless is booooring.

Equal rights don't stop people finding work or having rights. They don't mean people have some kind of unfair advantage.

The only people who think the Equality Act or human rights laws create a system of "tokenism" are the same muppets who would still struggle to be mediocre in a "meritocracy".

It shouldn’t be that hard to say “You must vote for the Democrat against the Republican, whether or not you love them” - a message that applies equally to the left and center, by the way - but many people seem to want to avoid that truth

Rev. Jesse Jackson was a great American who fought relentlessly to make our country a better place — one with justice, equality, and freedom for all. His legacy will live on for generations through the lives he changed. My thoughts are with his family.
Rev. Jesse Jackson was an American hero.

He changed the course of our nation, from marching for civil rights to building coalitions that expanded who gets to be heard in our democracy. He challenged us to believe that progress is possible, to never accept injustice, & to rise up against all odds.

So when thousands of women (and children) were being duplicated--including in non-consensual AI porn--it was no big deal. But it took "only a 15-sec clip" of these two famous white men to draw outrage and fear. Gotcha. Cool cool.
It took only a 15-second clip of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt duking it out on a crumbling rooftop — made by A.I. with a two-sentence prompt and the click of a button — to draw swift outrage, and sizable fear, from Hollywood.

"It’s nothing short of terrifying," one scriptwriter said.
Why an A.I. Video of Tom Cruise Battling Brad Pitt Spooked Hollywood
A 15-second clip created by an artificial intelligence tool owned by the Chinese technology company ByteDance appears more cinematic than anything so far.
