These conservative political pundits that have been criticizing Carney for being “elbows down” are now worried that standing up to the bullies is too risky. Miss me with that BS! Appeasement won’t work and they know it. It’s been a year of shifting goalposts & tantrums ffs!

Carney made a good speech today. Now we'll see how he's going to implement it in his actions towards Donald Trump. IMO he's gotta do it before "it" happens, so that Trump's evil sycophants and puppeteers can't try to make us believe it wasn't as bad as it was and demand that we forgive and forget.

The Pension Schemes Bill going through UK parliament makes it easier for employers to grab scheme surplus (see clause 9).

Will they invest in productive assets, pay high dividends, exec pay, share buyback?

Who would suffer when company goes bust and the scheme has a deficit?

I’m amused by those who are trying to tell me sugar pills help with flu symptoms. It takes hard work to screw your mind up that much. I’ll give you that.
There is one molecule of duck in every 10 to the 400 molecules in it.
Oh, there are 10 to the 80 atoms in the whole visible universe.
Morons.
With the flu being widespread (doc told me it was everywhere in my visit today), my annual warning to NOT BUY THIS.
It’s homeopathic nonsense.
Nothing in it, but GLUCOSE…IE SUGAR PILLS.

And it’s only gotten worse over the years! I’ve been responsible for my own meds for tenish years and it’s gotten to the point where even my psych is like well don’t throw out your old meds because idk if we can get you more.

And if you don’t call your psych for refill a full week in advance, be ready to go without for at least several days, because fuck you. That is, if the pharmacy even has them in stock and doesn’t have them on a two week backorder

Child and adolescent psychiatrists and also ADHD nurses trained in ADHD sometimes run adult services too. GPs often buy adult services from private psychiatric providers - that would be a psychiatrist. My GP does “shared care” - check ups and titration by psychiatrists, prescribing by GP.

That’s right - you need a referral to either a CAMHS service for children or an Adult ADHD service. Not primary care. And yes the services are horribly underfunded.
