If they (Daily Mail ) turn it down, which they won’t as they love any excuse to use the “EXCLUSIVE” banner, Newsmax or News Nation as a last resort (former has about 4x the viewers, depending on the show, but I know you have a good relationship with latter & they are a better fit ideologically Nuzzi

If Fox turns it down, I would offer it to Piers in conjunction with the Daily Mail, with an agreement about how long the story must stay on their homepage, & since they have British media ethics you can probably dictate — carefully — other terms about the tenor of the story

"Working on a problem reduces the fear of it.

It’s hard to fear a problem when you are making progress on it—even if progress is imperfect and slow.

Action relieves anxiety." James Clear.

True. Taking action is great for anxiety. Gets you out of helpless spiralling mode.

I’ve taken medication my entire adult life for ADHD. This is totally normal. Are there times that I don’t take it? Yes. But that’s maybe a single digit percentage of days in a year. There are also many facets of ADHD that have nothing to do with being taken out for a run before events…

Every experience with ADHD is different. I know you mean well, but for many of us, myself included, medication is in fact a necessity. It literally saves lives, those with ADHD are significantly more likely to get into vehicle accidents. Bottom line-don't tell someone their kid doesn't need meds

I finally got diagnosed with adhd today and I wanna tell EVERYONE how exciting that is but they’ll be like, “why are you happy to have adhd” then I’ll have to explain that I’m not happy to have it but, I AM happy to know my life doesn’t have to be this hard anymore!

Nearly a month ago the ADHD taskforce released its report on ADHD treatment

It said ADHD treatment is woeful inadequate, that Specialist ADHD treatment teams are both massively underfunded and unnecessary.

It recommended treatment is moved to GPs.

When is this going to happen?

I’ve been taking antidepressants for 30 years and I will probably take them for the rest of my life.

We need to stop shaming people for using life-saving medications. It does no one any good.

Fash-adjacent "wellness" bullshit still has a pretty strong hold in many ostensibly liberal circles, despite the fact we've seen pretty clearly this last year where that leads.

I genuinely don't understand why you would want to stop taking medication, though. Diabetics take insulin for their entire lives. I've been on medication for bipolar disorder for over 20 years, and plan to take it until I die. What's the problem with being on medication forever?

My kids go to a "rich" public school. My daughter is 7 and cannot read; she is a sweet, caring, intelligent child, but if you spend a moment with her it is clear that she has ADHD an order of magnitude more serious than what you think of when you hear "ADHD." Anybody questioning her IEP can fuck off
"Rich kids are gaming disability accommodations to gain an unfair advantage" is actually very different from "America has an extra-time-on-tests problem" — and the author hasn't proved that either! Rich kids might just be more likely to be diagnosed.

It didn’t fix everything, but it gave me a starting point.

ADHD is 80% genetic. If a child has it the parents should be screened for it

That will come handy in keeping energy prices down in France, improving govt finances.
