In addition to money donations to food banks & food aid for people, please also consider donating money or food & litter to pet food pantries. Many people who rely on SNAP to feed themselves will now need to redirect $ to buy groceries that they would have spent on pet food before.

Can anyone tell me how many episodes I have to get thru before #DeptQ gets good? The 1st ep seemed to be just House from "House" but as a cop. I love that it's set in Scotland, the actors are all good, but as a white guy, I'm tired of whiny white guys leading TV shows. I guess I'm whiny too. Ah well

“The perfect is the enemy of the good” pretty worn-out cliche but ok fine, perfect is obviously off the table.
But the shitty is also the enemy of the good. It also loses to fascism easier because it doesn’t rally the coalition it needs. It keeps selling people out!

As an east coaster who pays attention to the news, I'm wondering how much the DOGE cuts have affected the accuracy of the Erin forecasts. I know computers do a lot of the predicting but as a heavy tech user I also know tech is great except when it isn't & you never know when it it's not going to be.

So, Trump did just take over our capital city? Because it seems like taking control of the city police and sending in a bunch of other federal folks feels like he's kinda taken over our capital city. Like a stealth insurrection, almost.
