Political violence is evil, killing people is evil, a country with more guns in it than people is broken, and what the government is saying about political violence right now being a primarily leftwing phenomenon is factually, statistically untrue. They are using this moment to rewrite history.

OK never mind. In episode 2 other actors are allowed to be important and there is actually a mystery beyond the "why is this a show." Really I just need to stop watching the first episodes of shows. These days they always seem to be unnecessary. Don't start every show with a prequel.

Did they explain how they tell the difference between homeless people and vagrants? (Vagrants, by definition, are assumed to be illegally supporting themselves, according to Merriam-Webster.)

Haha, sounds like cute and nerdy describes both of our couples! And I understand. Regardless of what ever you are most nerdy for, there are always corners that just don't appeal. Red Dwarf is sometimes a little crass and silly but I still think it's worth a try unless bad FX are a dealbreaker.

Then it turned out that she had a vhs of the bloopers from Red Dwarf so I offered her a trade of a copy of my Star Wars Holiday Special and her RD blooper tape. When we exchanged addresses we realized we lived 20 minutes away from each other in LA. We became friends and after a bit we started dating

Awww that's so sweet! Yeah, that's similar to my wife and I. If you like sci-fi and want to laugh a lot, the show that connected me with my wife is Red Dwarf. It makes fun of sci-fi while also being pretty good sci-fi, itself. Anyway, back in 1997, she and I were on a Yahoo group for RD.

I am not familiar with the pod cast but I will check it out! My wife and I built our relationship around Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Red Dwarf. We're a couple of big old nerds!

At this point I think that *anyone* who is not pushing for the Epstein files to be released is in the Epstein files. Why would anyone not want the truth to come out? It's the truth! It happened! Shouldn't we know it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Except you're expecting people who are oblivious to the problems with AI to be able to follow everything you're saying. So, yeah, I guess you're right.

1 of my top 3 favorite films is Das Boot. Its director's cut is like 3.5 hrs long BUT it is an excellent movie. It ran in theaters briefly back in the early 2000s. So, I got to see it and I remember feeling so lucky to have been able to. It's not your average war movie at all.

I totally get that! I think Ghost Protocol was the best one. I feel like too many movies don't understand that humor is part of life and happens naturally irl. Tom Cruise showing off his fitness and doing a TON of "serious" talking does not make for great cinema. Nor does letting him do it for 2+hrs
