Immediately lost, only to turn up 5 years later as you reach into the bottom of your bag. Was the sheet there before you packed the bag awaiting rediscovery? Was it carried along by a book or notepad that had trapped it between pages? Did you open your bag and reach into a pocket dimension?
Form-fillable PDF character sheets are an abomination. Honestly, *printed* character sheets are degenerate and for use only by slackers and ingrates. All character sheets should be written by hand on a sheet of lined paper which must then be immediately lost in the GM's flat

this is huge for a number of marginalized groups (black people in particular obviously) but definitely for people with severe mental illness as well. I couldn't find rates for felonies specifically but "up to 75% of individuals with [psychosis] reported a history of [arrest/conviction etc]
A reminder as people go vote: Millions of people are barred from voting due to convictions.
In some states, this accounts for up to 10% of voting-age population! Just a startling amount.
Harshest are states with lifetime bans — you can lose your right for life for any felony.

I told my students that they weren't allowed to use Generative "AI" this semester in sociolinguistics, not because of plagiarism, but because it's racist. And if they did, I would take it as a personal offense and assume that they were ok with racism. And now I just sent them this article.
