I began this story focused on the weird lies about Hurricane Helene but became very disturbed at how prevalent this pseudo-environmentalism is. The movement blocks real policy to curb climate catastrophes.
For @rollingstone.com I wrote about the mass national movement to ban chemtrails...which don't exist. The movement is one of the ways in which MAHA is taking over the country.

Corn products like tortillas are poor sources of folate known to cause deficiency, & people who consume diets high in corn flour products have increased adverse effects from folate deficiency, like neural tube defects. This health disparity is easily treated.

RFK is just ignorant, eugenicist trash.
Kennedy says adding folic acid to tortillas is “waging war” against poor residents. Folic acid has long been added to cereal and bread and the CDC website currently says it’s safe for those with the mutation mentioned in the thread Kennedy is replying to.

By amplifying this post calling Kilmar Abrego Garcia a “terrorist,” the Trump administration just violated the court order that they reference.

To recap:
*The Trump administration illegally renamed the Kennedy Center. They broke the law.
*Now they are suing a guy who refused to perform because of the name change for $1 million.

I am crying after reading this. This is very very very touching
"They found the coats on Thursday morning.

Fifteen winter coats. Good ones, not garbage. Hanging on the chain-link fence outside Lincoln Elementary. No note. No explanation. Just coats zipped up like ghosts waiting for bodies.

Principal Morris freaked out. Called the police. "Could be stolen"

Mid-day birding: Female Common Eider on the bay near Annapolis. First we've seen for years, anywhere. Swam within about 200 feet of us. Nearby were some swans and a ton of Ruddy Ducks. Sunny, cold, breezy.

No joke! Comedy writer nabs 'Trump Kennedy Center' websites
When Donald Trump gloats online about the galling rebranded “Trump Kennedy Center,” he might face some challenges directing people to its website. That’s because it’s already taken. Toby ...

Who’s in the hospital wishing they could be at home.

Who’s caring for someone who’s sick and having a difficult time.

The holidays hit different for us and that’s ok.

And it's part of a whole set of Neil Young spoofs
I kept tuned into this since yesterday and I just walked into the room where the radio was playing thinking that I was listening to an indy college music grunge band playing something crunchy and it turned out to be a spoof of 'Good King Wenceslaus' in the tune of a Neil Young tribute band.
Here we go!

Now until 6:00 pm ET on Christmas Day!
