My guess now is that the next-gen XBox will ship with windows 12, launch alongside a Proton Xbox app, and include a microphone in the controller for in-box voice input.
If they were smart they'd also bundle a roku-like remote and maybe an Xbox keyboard, both with the aforementioned microphones.
