During this period, the competent governmental authorities documented 969 violations of the agreement, detailed as follows: 298 incidents of live fire directed at civilians. 54 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas. 455 incidents of shelling and targeting of unarmed civilians and their homes. 162 cases of demolition and destruction of civilian homes, institutions, and buildings. These systematic violations have resulted in the killing of 418 civilians and the injury of 1,141 others, in addition to 45 cases of illegal detention carried out by the Israeli occupation forces. On the humanitarian level, the Gaza Strip continues to face a slow death, as the occupation persists in evading its obligations under the agreement and the humanitarian protocol. It has failed to meet even the minimum required levels of humanitarian assistance. Over the course of 80 days, only 19,764 aid trucks entered Gaza out of the 48,000 that were supposed to enter, averaging just 253 trucks per day instead of the agreed 600—representing a compliance rate of no more than 42%. This has resulted in a severe and ongoing shortage of food, medicine, water, and fuel, deepening the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Fuel shipments entering Gaza during the same period amounted to only 425 trucks out of the 4,000 that were supposed to enter, at an average of just five trucks per day instead of the agreed 50—equivalent to approximately 10% compliance. This has left hospitals, bakeries, water and sanitation facilities on the brink of paralysis, further exacerbating the suffering of the civilian population. With regard to shelter, we once again warn of the deepening and unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli occupation persists in closing crossings and preventing the entry of tents, mobile homes, caravans, and shelter materials, in blatant violation of the agreement and international humanitarian law. These arbitrary policies, combined with the severe weather conditions accompanying the onset of winter, have led to the collapse of 49 homes and buildings that had previously been damaged by bombardment. This resulted in the death of 20 civilians due to the weather conditions, as buildings collapsed over their heads while they sought shelter after losing their original homes to bombing, in the absence of any safe alternatives. Additionally, the deaths of two children were recorded due to extreme cold inside displacement tents, while more than 127,000 tents have gone out of service and are no longer fit to provide even the minimum level of protection for over 1.5 million displaced persons. This comes as the Gaza Strip enters the “forty-day” winter period, known for its severe cold, raising fears of further deaths among displaced populations if this deliberate neglect continues. Moreover, three civilians remain missing under the rubble of buildings that collapsed as a result of the recent weather conditions, having previously been targeted by Israeli bombardment—an unmistakable illustration of the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe and the inhumane policies of the occupation that deprive civilians of the most basic necessities of life.

Out of curiosity, I just ran a few paragraphs from The Butchering Art through an AI checker and it got flagged: 88% AI. This book was released in 2017, and AI machines were subsequently trained off it. How many writers are getting flagged for AI because of the literal theft of their work(s)? Insane.

OMG - f*ck AI for ruining the em-dash for writers. I use them all the time. Of course, what a shock that AI uses them since they were trained off my voice and other authors' voices.

I'm a writer who has specifically been directed *not* to use em-dashes because "they mean it was written by AI." I can detect AI writing, but it is not simply a matter of the punctuation used.
