I went to an $8 matinee of The Flash and I would've loved the hell out of that movie when I was 11. It's very funny that it flopped and the star went on a crime spree but it's also somehow the best/most comic booky Big Two movie in years.

I was reading some silver age comics to my kid and it led me to wiki an obscure character and so many of these begin like "Solovar was the smartest ape in Gorilla City and an ally of The Flash" and then in the 2000s become this

I never owned a Wii but I'm getting into emulation (cool/sexy activity) and it's truly remarkable how annoying the original controls of New Super Mario Bros Wii are. I don't even hate motion controls this is just a stupid way to control a platformer. Why do I shake to pick up a thing.

Asteroid City. Very good. Will probably be the most visually impressive film involving nuclear bomb tests that I see this year.
