Since Jan 20, 2025, there have been 402 verified cases of scientific interference: funding rescinded, websites wiped, experts sidelined.

This is a systematic dismantling of federal research.

From the Courtroom to the Internet, the Fight Over Federal Science Is On
It’s been six months since President Trump took the oath of office and his administration began its all-out effort to gut federal science—though it’s understandable if it feels like even longer. Is someone who makes these types of signs for a living, this is chilling. Interpreters work very hard to help visitors connect with a place and often share difficult parts of our history. This is an amazing exhibit. I’m not surprised the current administration is afraid of it.
“One of the most underrated aspects of the National Park Service is that we are the largest federal institution tasked with telling American history,” she said. “That includes good history, bad history, boring history, ugly history — it’s all history.”

I was guaranteed by several leftist reply guys and some academics that this would never happen because the only problem is *greed.* Guess what, landlords have to become a lot less greedy if there's more competition for tenants.
Rents in Spokane are down 12% as a result of pro-housing legislation, like removing parking minimums, incentivizing housing on former parking lots, and upzoning all residential parcels.

Rent prices are falling fast in America’s most pro-housing cities
Rental prices in some of the country's largest cities are falling—some by almost 45 percent, according to new data.
