i think fundamentally the story of 2024 and the reaction to this admin is a bunch of people's whose entire lives are predicated on stability necessary for liberal democratic capitalism to function standing in a circle holding hands chanting "worse things aren't possible"
I will go to my deathbed, which god willing will be in like seven decades, absolutely hating these people for their sheer hubris and decadence. We had the world, and they are risking it all because they can't see past the bridge of their nose shoved up their ass
The thing that's astounding is they don't seem to understand how what they're exactly playing at, their cowardice actually increases their personal risk! Their entire being is predicted on the stability and order that they are choosing to compromise!

If the president gives unlawful orders, it’s the responsibility of military officers to refuse those orders.
It’s imperative the movement maintains non-violent discipline so the military will side with the constitution and the people. We can win if we stand together.

I’m sorry. You can all be mad at journalists for this or whatever. And maybe in some cases it’s deserved. But this is a high-risk profession that’s dying. There’s little support for most working journalists who still have jobs.
