Yesterday I fulfilled a dream and saw Stevie Winder in concert and it was as thrilling and exciting as you might imagine. He did 2.5 hours and did 28 FULL songs, no medley shit.

Kurt Vonnegut (noted Humanist and atheist) often said that practicing any art no matter how horrible you were at it was the only way to make your soul grow.

And AI sloppers really don't care about having a soul and don't seem to understand why they might need one, it seems. Same with the techbros

Your reminder that the EU offered to freeze Brexit talks in 2020 so we could focus on Covid but Johnson said no. He then fucked up both: partying while 23,000 needlessly died & did a Brexit so shit the economic impact (-8% GDP) is worse than predictions he described as “the work of gloomsters”

There is so much messed up about this front page Express story today.

There's no suggestion or evidence ANY alcohol or drugs was consumed. This is literally just people dancing.

And buried in the piece: "The footage is believed to have been filmed just before Labour took power in July last year."

A group of Kurdish asylum seekers once expressed incomprehension to me that British men don't dance. But, apparently, such normal behaviour is evidence that the great British taxpayer is being taken for a ride. The people who write the Express (and those who read it) are simply weird

I’m sorry but any Labour MP not publicly denouncing Shabana Mahmood‘s disgusting proposal to turn asylum seekers’ lives into a living hell is complicit.

Fascists claim that the overtone window is destroyed, that they won.

Labour MPs now get to decide whether that’s true or not.

This is on you.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

I have had an exciting day of cleaning and tidying bookshelves (not that you’d know by looking at them!) and have found two duplicates of books I have. If there is anyone in the UK who wants them, I’d happily give them away for the cost of the postage and a small charity donation. Any takers?
