Folks, it was just a matter of time before this Twitter clone turned into Twitter. Even before Elon, it was a trash fire. I was already thinking of winding down my presence, here. An ICE-friendly social-media platform is not for me.

My very nearly unfounded hypothesis is that Windows doesn't naturally run any better on randomly assorted hardware than Linux does. The difference is that 99.99% of commercially available computers were *set up* to run Windows and/or were tweaked so Windows would run on them.

Really hate trying to write a "customer service" email knowing damn well I'm writing to an AI or a bot instead of a person.
It means I have to guess what word patterns the bot will recognize and respond to correctly, when a person would understand by using their brain.
