Every time a media merger happens, one word tends to be overused: monopoly.

I tried to explain how the Netflix/Warner Bros deal isn't a pure monopoly, but I don't think it'll get through to some folks.

Also, Disney owns a lot of streaming platforms. Like... a lot.
How would Netflix’s acquisition of Warner Bros./HBO affect competition in the streaming market? Would it amount to a monopoly?
Jeff Harris's answer: The word “monopoly” gets thrown around a lot when it comes to big media deals like this. But here’s the truth: The Netflix/Warner Bros deal is NOT a pure monopoly. According t...

The original article this article is leeching off of and voiding of context for ragebait points.

It's a nothing statement, Aardman isn't switching to ai. The kind of "ai" here is the same automation stuff we've had for years, but renamed ai to attract investors.

And this is why you should try to read the source articles related to rage bait headlines more carefully before raging.
Out of nearly 100 qrts, there was EXACTLY one that rightfully called out this article as clickbait and provided a contextual screenshot of what they actually meant

This isn't Gen AI, nor is it a misinformed executive. It's the same team that weathered the CGI boom saying they're ready for round two

Donald Trump says the Netflix and Warner Bros merger 'could be a problem'

"It would be a big market share ... no question about that"

He will be involved with the decision on if it ends up happening

Donald Trump says he will have a say in whether or not Netflix acquires Warner Bros:

“Netflix has a very big market share and when they have WB., that share goes up a lot. I don’t know that’s gonna be for some economist to tell, I’ll be involved in that decision too.”

This thread perfectly sums up why I'm optimistic that the Netflix/WB merger can both help Netflix's growth in the entertainment industry with theatrical releases and home media distributions and finally end WB's financial struggles from previous mergers. I know that sounds extremely naive but,

StarGiantProductions is the worst animation critic on YouTube, bar none. And I don't mean that like he's a terrible person (even though he is a terrible person). I mean that in terms of his videos' quality. Constant shouting, dozens of terrible media takes, shotty editing. Absolutely insufferable.

Once again, how the hell is a rip-off if the whole premise is kid goes to land of witches, probably an academy...
You know how vague that premise is? There's like 10 isekai anime per year (without including new seasons) with the same fcking premise.
Perhaps a better question should be...

Are videos like this legal?

I think Tarantino can be an interesting filmmaker, but I've wanted him to shut up with his "master of all cinema history" bullshit for years. It delights me that going after Matthew Lillard is what finally got movie fans to collectively tell him to fuck off.
Matthew Lillard reacts to Quentin Tarantino's comments about him

"Quentin Tarantino says he doesn't like me as an actor ... it hurts your feelings, it fucking sucks, and he wouldn't say that to Tom Cruise ... or a top-line actor ... It's humbling, and it hurts"

Again, that's coming from me.
I kinda find it incredibly ironic how people are actually pissed off at AniMat for not giving Zootopia 2, a Disney movie, the AniMat’s Seal of Approval after months and months of people labeling him as a “Disney shill”. The dude just can’t win with everyone.
