Fuck, Spumdonor noticed me (technically on my NickCrave account)! And I already had him blocked but the Muskrat thought it was a good idea for people I blocked to stalk me

You don’t wanna know who that guy is, he’s everything wrong with the worst side of the animation community

I’m sick of the bean mouth art style just as much as you guys, but you can try to complain about the over usage of the style without resorting to racism and blaming CalArts, Tumblr, and Reddit

Even animated movies with non-white leads like Coco, Soul, Encanto, Turning Red (a major punching bag from that side of the community), Kpop Demon Hunters are fun movies for reasons beyond the color of the main characters’ skin.

Do Craig of the Creek, Amphibia, The Owl House, Glitch Techs, Molly McGee, Wylde Pak scream forgettable to you? No, they’re all beloved shows and they’re being discussed plenty of times and they’re known more than just the shows with POC leads.

That “Instantly Forgettable” image piss me off every time I come across it (and it’s always posted by right-wing cartoon boomers)

Whoever created that image is a racist piece of shit who assume modern animated media is unmemorable because they have a non-white protagonist.

Animated movies, especially original stories, succeeding is always a good thing. I hope people go see "Hoppers" too!
‘GOAT’ earned $47.6 million for its global box office opening weekend.

The highest earned for an original animated film since ‘Coco’.

I don’t know how to feel about Sonic Prime being the 4th most played show of Nick last year.

It’s nice to see an acquisition treated well, but airing a 23 episode show 209 times in a single year means airing the same episodes air every week. It was a problem when they only had 5 episodes to air

Hard to believe in a week from now, American Dad will be back airing new episodes in its original home network.

I need 5 more seasons to catch up , and the TBS era has been really hit or miss for me (it’s more bland and tries too hard to be edgy). I do hope the second FOX era is an improvement.

It's been more apparent to some folks than others, but if there's one thing animation circles should take away from all we've witnessed this week, it's that the old ways are not coming back, and artists have to adapt or die. And the sooner we know where to go, the sooner we can help make it happen.

Okay folks. We've repeatedly gone through this song and dance, and it's time we all read these backtracks for what they are.

He's out of a job.
The show isn't getting renewed.
He can't publicly say it bc of company guardrails.
They're banking on you to fall for it.
It's all but in ink.
It's done.
‘The Loud House’ has not been canceled following the completion of Season 9, co-producer Kevin Sullivan confirms:

“We’re still waiting on word regarding a potential Season 10.”

This was during a period where the Simpsons really got lazy with their parody names. Often just changing the first letter of something (usually it being an M).

"Instead of Apple, what about MAPPLE?!"
"Instead of Pixar, how about MIXAR?!"

Good movie and franchise, but I hate how its success has led to people thinking Shrek 5 deserve the same treatment just because they hate the new character designs. They only fixed the design for one character here, there’s no way they’re doing the same for multiple characters
6 years ago today, ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ released in theaters.

KOG IS GREENLIT!
Since this was shown in the trailer/ad for the artbook it felt safe to share. This was drawn in '24, early dev, the first time it really felt me, Zach, and JBO understood Frankie, Andi, and the show's tone. I still look at this drawing and think, oh yeah. That's #knightsofguinevere.

I’ve been on a huge HB/WB Animation bingeathon for the past few years, so I now I can legally watch their shows without relying on WCO

Tubi officially confirmed it and now it looks like it’s truly the new home for Cartoon Network, Warner Bros TV Animation, and Hanna Barbera.

The lineup that they revealed is already better than HBO MAX at its peak

Moreover, disliking the show doesn't mean you represent the majority, as online opinions don't always reflect real-life sentiments. This attitude isn't something SpongeBob himself or the crew would endorse.

You don't have to be a fan of the show, but it would be considerate to show more empathy and compassion, especially in these challenging times. While I’m not advocating for blind acceptance of everything, we must acknowledge that the industry is vulnerable right now.

They pan these shows for not having SB's longevity, which I find unfair. As someone who is grateful that SpongeBob continues to thrive, I believe the industry is currently in a fragile state, and everyone needs to look out for one another.

Whenever another Nickelodeon show gets canceled, a segment of the fandom tends to boast about how much more successful SpongeBob is and takes pride in the cancellations of other shows.

This trend has persisted over the past few years, particularly with shows that certain fans dislike.
