Out of all the series finales I've watched over the years, none have ever gotten me so invested to where as the credits rolled and tears poured out of my eyes, I never felt so confident to say that it was possibly the best show I've ever seen. And 10 years later, it's still true. 🥹

I wonder if animation fans in Japan find it strange when they see animation fans in the west complaining that a Hollywood animated film has three or four sequels.

Shrek and Ice Age are nowhere near the number of Pokemon, Doraemon and Detective Conan movies.

I was so touched by all the kind messages I received yesterday. It has given me a lot of encouragement for what will now be a big swing:

My next animated project will be the first episode of a gothic horror interpretation of the Nutcracker called "Clara and the Below."

I’ll always remember James Van Der Beek as the voice of Pazu in the English dub of one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films: Castle in the Sky. To this day, it’s among my favorite adventure films. It’s devastating that he died so young. Cancer sucks. May he rest in peace.

RIP James Van Der Beek.

This would've been such an amazing movie. I had the honor to peep it sometime last year and it was very moving and exciting. Sony passed on something great BUT I hear Matt has some other news to share soon so... Something else to look forward to!
Matt Braly has shared never-before-seen development artwork from his canceled feature film at Sony Pictures Animation.

The project centered on a young boy who embarks on an emotional journey into a fantastical realm of Thai spirits, hoping to find a cure for his illness.

It's been five years since it was revealed that Blue Sky Studios would be shuttering and I'm still not over it. It's still a massive loss for animation and I know they really could've shined this decade with ambitious films like Nimona had they endured. I'll forever miss them.

Watching The Muppet Show Special was like watching a long lost episode of the original series. Which is a great compliment on how much I loved it from start to finish! 😊 And now I'll keep my fingers super tight and crossed that Disney hopefully gives this at least 2 whole seasons. 🤞
