Pssst. Sony, there's that Black Knight film that he shared footage of. Maybe you should look into that. Also, maybe dust that Matt Braly film off the shelf while you're at it. (walks away)

I'm a firm believer in second chances and I do believe animated films that were at one point scrapped should at least be given a new chance because it's always unfair they get thrown out. As the saying goes, if at first you don't succeed, try try again. It should happen.

I’m very disappointed to hear that Sony Pictures Animation has scrapped Matt Braly’s film. Honestly, I’m baffled they scrapped it thinking it “wasn’t commercial” given that’s what they sold KPop Demon Hunters to Netflix and that blew up big. I hope Matt gets to make a movie soon.

I, Chihuahua has been saved! It’s been announced that the film by Jorge Gutierrez has been rescued after being scrapped by Netflix by Smafu Pictures! I’m really happy to hear the film has been saved and is getting out and away from Netflix! Fantastic news!

It's been five years since it was revealed that Blue Sky Studios would be shuttering and I'm still not over it. It's still a massive loss for animation and I know they really could've shined this decade with ambitious films like Nimona had they endured. I'll forever miss them.

Sony Pictures Animation has a new film out about a goat wanting to become a champion basketball player that I saw early. While it's familiar and not one of their best films, it's still tons of fun and does work. Anyway, here's my review of Goat.

Here's some concept art from The Mitchells Vs. The Machines by Alex Konstad. It's still my absolute favorite Sony Pictures Animation film since the plot is just perfectly nutty and Katie Mitchell is someone I identify with so much. Just a great film.

Goat was a fun time! While it doesn’t rise as one of Sony Pictures Animation’s best films due to it’s too familiar story and uninteresting lead, it still works due to its beautiful animation and a fun cast of supporting characters. I’ll give you my full review very soon.

Here are some sketches of Nimona by Aidan Sugano. She is easily one of the biggest comfort characters that has come out for me this decade. Just adore her rebellious spirit at times like this.

Here's a concept art sketch of Woody and Buzz from Toy Story drawn by Bob Pauley. It's thirty years old and Pixar has put out nearly thirty films since then and still as entertaining as ever.

Forty years ago today, Pixar Animation Studios was founded. One of the most important and best animation studios around, they've made some of the best animated films ever which have such emotional stories and riveting characters that continue to touch audiences hearts every time.

Adobe shutting down Adobe Animate is such a harmful and devastating move to numerous animators and studios who still use the software and I can imagine how much damage they'll create if they stick to it. Adobe should be ashamed and I am firmly protesting this decision.

Steven Spielberg has just become an EGOT. He has now won a Grammy today making him the latest person to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony and the third filmmaker to do so alongside Mel Brooks and Mike Nichols! If there was ever a director who deserved this honor, it's him!

I really love the way that Catherine O'Hara sang Sally's Song in The Nightmare Before Christmas because it feels so raw and honest. Her voice gives Sally this heartbreaking ache that makes the song so haunting to me and I love it. I'm seriously going to miss her so much.

Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am to hear that Catherine O'Hara died today at 71. She was one of my favorite comedians and was just a joy in anything she appeared in like Beetlejuice and Home Alone and films like Nightmare Before Christmas, Elemental, and Wild Robot.

I came across some early storyboards for Beauty and the Beast drawn by Glen Keane and I really love how dark and haunting they are. You can feel the cold radiating from these drawings.

The Incredibles has been officially inducted into the National Film Registry becoming Pixar's third film in the Library of Congress alongside Toy Story and WALL-E. It's so well deserved as it's such a fun superhero flick with great commentary and a fun tribute to James Bond.

Hayao Miyazaki's watercolor paintings give me life.

I'm fascinated by what Don Bluth's The Little Blue Whale could've turned out had he made it. The film would've been written by Robert Towne who also wrote Chinatown and Shampoo and all we have are the concept art keys of what the film could've looked like. It looked nice.

Lorelay Bove really has made some incredible concept art for the films of Walt Disney Animation Studios that I always find myself returning to look at again and again. If anything, her work really does remind me so much of Mary Blair.

Sixty five years ago today, One Hundred and One Dalmatians was released. One of Disney Animation's most beloved films, this film is a real charmer thanks to its silly yet endearing story, influential animation, and lovable characters including a great villain with Cruella.

A new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie just dropped this morning. I can definitely tell that Illumination really went bigger with this sequel and I do hope it pays off cause it looks promising. Also, it's nice to see the official looks of both Yoshi and Birdo!
New galaxies. New friends. Yoshi joins the adventure. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is only in theaters April 1.

A new logo for the Pixar film Gatto has been unveiled. I am super curious and excited to see what this film has in store next year knowing it's Enrico Casarosa's follow-up film to Luca and hearing that Pixar is experimenting with its animation. I cannot wait!

Illumination and Nintendo have announced there will be a Nintendo Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie this Sunday and revealed a new still from the film. I'm really curious what else they'll reveal about this film.

With a new year here, I decided to start making video reviews of the foreign/indie animated films I liked for my channel. To kick things off, I'm starting with a new take on the Edge of Tomorrow story. Anyway, here's my review of All You Need Is Kill.
