I don’t know how they’ll go into Rosalina’s backstory and if they’ll show flashbacks of it in the movie. But in case they don’t go too much into it, you have a gold opportunity here Illumination to just do a full Rosalina story as a short for the Digital and Blu-Ray release.

Admittedly I haven’t played Sunshine yet, so I didn’t pick up that Bowser Jr. had that in the game.
I could be reading too much into this, but with this paintbrush tool/weapon, and even with Bowser painting at the beginning of the trailer, is this meant to be a Mario Paint reference?
