The 5-year-old arrested by ICE In Minnesota is detained at Dilley. We reported on conditions there in the below article.

Parents said the food was contaminated with mold and worms & that children were so under so much stress that they were hitting their own faces & wetting themselves.
Analysis by The Marshall Project of ICE data obtained by the Deportation Data Project found that the Trump administration’s revival of family detention has swept thousands of children into ICE custody. At least 3,800 children under 18, including 20 infants, have been booked since Trump took office.

the federal government routinely deploying chemical weapons on its own citizens, is there a word for this?
look what they’re doing to my beautiful city. this is bovino’s massive armed convoy, rolling through the Wedge, one of the nicest, friendliest residential areas in Minneapolis, doing nothing but posturing, starting fights, and then deploying chemical weapons at a park many children play in

Good clarification.
Abigail Spanberger did not end Virginia’s 287(g) partnership with ICE yesterday, despite reports to the contrary.

What Spanberger did do is rescind Glenn Youngkin’s order that required the state police + DOC to sign ICE contracts. She terminated the requirement, but not the contracts themselves.

The synagogue was bombed by the KKK in the 1960s because of its work with the civil rights movement and its fight against racism and segregation.

Clearly in my feels on this one: I'd love to see the outpouring of media and interest for state schools being stripped of academic freedom the way we breathlessly looked at funding coersion against the ivies. Florida, Ohio, and Texas educate exponentially more students.
Given the news, I just want to say Im proud of the feminist and liberatory curriculum and training I received in Texas A&M's English Department. The work I produced there has won awards. I was tenured based on that preparation and their faculty's right to self-determine content.
