I've been an Immigration Court observer at 26 Fed'l Plaza in NYC. While we're powerless against ICE, we do connect people w/ social workers & legal aid. We also give out children's books in court. A former student created this & we welcome children's books in Spanish. Here's Jeanneane's list:

Ok, WTF? I just heard about this site and when I checked, my sister's books are all on it. And my mother's book, which years ago, she had to fight for in court because a man in her university department tried to claim it as his own work. Gross theft and harmful to authors. 😡
