Read this to better understand the significance of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). ⬇️
An incredibly important read from our friend @seemiaroll.bsky.social

"Obtaining an education is one of the best ways to help disabled people secure a stable income—and by weakening the IDEA, the Trump administration is trying to take those opportunities away."
Weakening the IDEA Threatens Millions of Disabled Americans Like Me
Ives-Rublee: Federal law made it possible for disabled students like me to go to school. Those opportunities may vanish for the next generation.

Ok wow. Propaganda is a helluva drug. It has rotted the brains of people in the regime. And remember, they “conveniently” leave the “A” off of DEIA because A is for accessibility, ie helping people with disabilities lead a life where they are included.
Countries that have abortion access, DEI policies or protection for LGBTQ+ people will be considered “human rights violators“ by the Trump regime

We’re in the upside down.

Welp, #Hoosiersky, looks like it's back to the barricades (phones, that is). Legislature will convene on Monday, Dec 1st after all, and they for some reason still think they need to discuss redistricting. 🤬 @hoosleft.us @hoosier-jezebel.bsky.social @woodenstares.bsky.social

It’s like a buffoonish drama troupe has taken over the executive branch and cabinet. They are terrible actors who are winging it, doing improv but their performance sucks. Revolting to watch, with horrible real-world consequences.

We need a new EPA-get these crooks and liars out!
About 90,000 people living near larger chemical plants face an unacceptable risk of developing cancer, the EPA says.

New rules adopted last year could’ve cut that number to 3,000 residents — a drop of 97%.

But Trump has halted those efforts.
Air Pollution From Industrial Facilities Is Far Worse Than Estimated
The Trump administration has put a stop to EPA rules that would have required more than 130 industrial facilities to install air monitors to measure pollution. Millions of people living near these pla...

This is beyond shocking at this point. Dangerous people doing bad things. Denial of reality is psychological violence.
French authorities are taking X to court because Grok is now doing straight up holocaust denial. Gas chambers intended for disinfection, cyanide residue tiny, ‘story’ persists because of taboo against critical examination. (Full translation in alt text)

i'd say it did. the public put a group of thieves, vandals and extremists in office last november and they promptly went about destroying everything that might work to limit their ability to loot, steal and inflicting pain on the people they hate
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

Super good! This is the way.
Bakunin wrote about this very thing!

"Does it follow that I reject all authority? Far from me such a thought. In the matter of boots, I refer to the authority of the bootmaker; concerning houses, canals, or railroads, I consult that of the architect or the engineer.
So there is an issue with authority.

Authority that arises from experience, character, and skill seems to me to be different than authority by hierarchy, force, or status.

Thoughts?

Wow. I can’t help but keep repeating that Vought has a child with cystic fibrosis. Someone who should have empathy and compassion is utterly devoid of it.
“In Texas, CDC funds to stem a measles outbreak weren’t available until after the crisis had subsided and two children had died. A project to protect Alabamans from raw sewage and hookworm was abandoned…Time-dependent surveys on HIV and maternal mortality were halted…”
Wielding Obscure Budget Tools, Trump’s ‘Reaper’ Vought Sows Turmoil in Public Health - KFF Health News
Through shrouded bureaucratic maneuvers, White House budget director Russell Vought and DOGE have quietly upended outbreak response, HIV treatment, and dementia care in communities across America.

Woah. As an advocate for people with disabilities I call this human rights abuse!
People with disabilities are vulnerable and need protection from ICE. This truly is a crime.
ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

As a Hoosier, I find this so sad. Who does it serve to bring down a great University? It’s idiotic, really and shows weakness, not strength.
Indiana University is being destroyed by the new Trump sycophant governor Mike Braun. He has taken control of the Board of Trustees and installed a malevolent ideologue as school president to dismantle the foundations of a formerly great university. It’s utterly devastating to watch it happen.

I wrote my song Ceasefire Now (on my new release “Ride at Dawn”) about the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, but you could zoom out and look at the war on the poor, too. It’s so absurd for wealthy people to attack poor people. It really is “One world or no world/Ceasefire Now.”
There is such a clear line from hunger to rioting all throughout history that it must be deliberate. They want an excuse for military occupation and if we won’t provide one, they will create one.
They want people to go hungry. Because hungry people will revolt. And if hungry people revolt, then they can vilify the hungry for revolting and claim that the hungry never deserved food at all.
