Ughhhhhh I can't believe I have to start this again but SIGH here we go. In no particular order:

Adding to this comment, the way the kdrama used to be filmed was unhealthy for cast and crew. Not to mention detrimental to the story writers wanted to tell, with producers pushing for changes accordingly to public opinion. Editors even got sick from overworking due to last minute changes.
This is funny to me because the same discourse was already going on a decade ago. There were already tragically bad and formulaic kdramas, people just forgot about them
