a lot of this sort of thing going around and the Ds one goal in Congress was to prevent it (I really don't know if a longer shutdown would have worked; I do know the Rs are to blame)
I'm sorry. Our ACA plan (family of 4) is going from $2200/mo to $3400/mo. We're going to have to make some really tough choices.

Oates represents something Musk fundamentally cannot buy: the authority of cultural memory. this is a concept i call "ontological entitlement"—the hyper-rich, having gained endless material resources, begin to assume an inherent right to emotional, intellectual, and spiritual ones as well.

Women born with vaginas, raised as girls are suddenly not sufficiently womanly enough. They're branded as "men" and humiliated. They are stripped of everything they have worked to achieve and called cheats. It only serves to police womanhood based on the ability to be a breeding vessel.

No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.
If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

So? The incumbent GOP sheriff had contracted with ICE. His Dem challenger promised to end the contract.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.
If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇

He's right (but also, Schumer should retire, or at least step down as leader)
But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

My biggest tip for coloring is think of it like an equation:
Decide your most important factors, what limits that, what draws attention to that, then build everything else around that.
For instance: This object is the most important and must be orange.

“It’s an allegory, really — the idea of getting back to the farm .. but it’s also me saying to Elton and the world, ‘This isn’t who I am.’”

Minor infection? Sepsis & died. Drank the wrong patent medicine? Sepsis & died. Turned your knee so that something tore and got inflamed? That's gonna turn into sepsis, friend

Jeffries is frustrating, but if you want House Dems to treat this constitutional crisis like a constitutional crisis, you've got to start with your own Dem Rep (if you have one).
