We had to chuckle this morning, when Joe Lavorgna, counselor to the Treasury Secretary, said on @cnbc.com that the jobs number is proof the economy's on fire -- but the fact that the gains were entirely from non-cyclical sectors like education/health care means the Fed can still cut rates.

The slow rollout of this game over several years dramatically lowered hype for the game. The small roster doesn't appeal to LoL fans or the general public. What it had going for it over everything else was the dev team. Whatever it would've grown into dies with those jobs.

· Maya T. Prabhu, a statehouse reporter whose last day will be the end of the ongoing state legislative session

Again: every single person laid off has been a woman and/or a person of color
BREAKING: @ajc.com on Tuesday evening said it will lay off approximately 50 staffers, about 15% of its headcount, as it seeks to cut costs and marshal resources to invest in its growth.

The AJC published its last print edition on 12/31. About half of those laid off will come from the newsroom.
