This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

Magic has always been a game that excelled at showcasing *worlds* and not characters, I think this is a big source of complaint about "story" from some, but it shows that ATLA has a much more interesting world for a tcg to play in than, say, NYC.

There's a Hasan Minhaj bit about how after 9/11, his family went through a racist incident & his dad was like "put your head down, this is the tax to live here" & Hasan says something like, "I was born here. I had the audacity of equality." & I think a lot of us lived both the fear & hope of that.
