I can't overstate how proud I am of everyday Americans who hear whistles & come running to document, protest, bear witness, & to help however they can when ICE invades their neighborhoods. They know they might get gassed, abused, or even arrested. They show up anyway to protect their neighbors. 💜

"Many of them, he said, held legal status, but were unable to immediately produce their documentation to the agents.

“Some people left their property, their work permits in their lockers here,” [their boss] said. “I could bring it to them and get them released. But I don’t know where they are.”"
With all the excitement about the election I don’t want this story to get lost. This morning 8 car wash workers in Boston were kidnapped by federal agents in the largest workplace raid in the area in recent memory.

The details are horrifying.

Omg I’m dying 😂😂😂…so…So Emily Austin, a right wing 'influencer' who works for Bibi and the GOP, launched 'Hot Girls for Cuomo'.

Guess who didn't bother to register the URL when she did that? What do you think Hot Girls for Cuomo dot com leads to now?... 😄 Enjoy.

This hits so hard right now. Claude & her partner staged a surrealist propaganda war against Nazi troops occupying their community. History rhymes.

Stark warning from Mississippi's Republican Insurance Commissioner: “I don’t know where America’s headed, but we've got to redefine how we address health insurance and health care in this country. If not, we will not have health care in the state of Mississippi in some areas, especially the Delta.”
Health Costs Will Soar for Many in Mississippi Without Action
About 331,000 Mississippians who rely on the Affordable Care Act could see their health insurance premiums jump by 37% on average unless Congress acts to extend COVID-19-era tax credits.

Under Trump, the draconian future of homelessness policy is coming into focus: mass internment. Utah is building a 16-acre site to detain up to 1,300 homeless people inside locked "accountability centers." This is profoundly alarming.

It’s great when you put a lot of work into an article and you get good feedback.

I spent a while writing this to make sure it was accurate and informative, without being too technical or complex - and it seems to have worked!

Do check it out if you've ever wondered wtf the 'AI bubble' is all about
Nvidia invests in OpenAI, OpenAI rents compute from Oracle, Oracle buys Nvidia’s hardware, and Nvidia records huge sales.

Everyone in the circle reports rising revenue, rising valuations, and surging share prices, but the cash is largely moving in circles.

My biggest pet peeve when working in food pantries or donation centers is, these are not places to send your trash or things you don't want. These are lifelines for real people who need a little bit of extra help.

If you wouldn't eat it, or use it, don't donate it.
