i'm quite proud of my most recent EP. it's always a struggle to get something going, but once i got started recording this felt pretty intuitive.
i don't want to pin any one meaning to it but among other things, the act of recording was meant as a genuine ritual action in praise of the god Fenrir.

I think these prizes are a dumb relic so I kind of love how totally shallow he is about it, completely nullifying the signified while hugging the signifier like the American flag, and in front of the tacky Hobby Lobby Rich Person™️ wall decor, it’s just perfect

got my own portable music player again. this device does, unfortunately, also include streaming (but only via tidal or qobuz). however, it has no apps, no social media, no web browser, which is ideal. and, crucially, gapless playback.

I should add, it does NOT need to be nice. It needs to be able to connect to wifi, have an hdmi cable and some usb ports, and reliably run firefox. No gaming laptops or high end specs necessary, I need a brick that can read basically.
