Tyson rehabilitation has been one of the more insane cultural pivots I just don’t understand. Sure he served time, I don’t think he should be hounded from life, but the idea that he should be heard from or a poster boy for anything political is fucking demented.

This massively sucks for Vonn but also...maybe listen to your 41-year-old body telling you not to fly down a hill at 3,000 mph with no ACL even though yr the GOAT at it? It feels very uniquely American to say fuck it (how else can you spur a wave of Vonn-branded ads/podcasts/etc)
