if the 40s and 50s were the peak era of Christmas songs that we still are forced to listen to, were the 80s/90s the golden age of Christmas movies that we still watch. I'm just going by A Christmas Story, Vacation, Die Hard, Scrooged, the Homes Alone and Muppet Christmas Carol and am probably wrong

My eighth grade English teacher Mrs. Fisher, who everyone was kind of scared of and called a witch because she was old and had long gray hair, was actually a cool/woo-woo goth poet, and she left a comment on one of my papers that said “you are a writer! You MUST write.” Changed me forever
