second verse on this is one of the funniest things i've ever heard

My toddler has taken to asking inanimate objects what their favorite numbers are, and also if they’re okay.

“Oh! Pillows! What’s your favorite number?”

“Oh no, I made a mess! Mess, are you okay?”

It’s nice

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

FIRST TIME CALLER.
Holy shit, this is the kind of gem that makes sifting through micro-budget indie films worthwhile.

Superbly written, dynamic shot design, & the whole thing is sent into the stratosphere by the lead performance from @abegoldfarb.bsky.social jaw-droppingly precise yet natural! Wow!

The first set in the LEGO Star Trek line costs about as much as six AAA console games. At least one of these products is priced extremely wrong.

I didn’t make enough in time but I had enough reward points to buy us another day. Still need to raise $650 by TOMORROW MORNING to keep the room for the week. Any dollar helps, but so does just sharing this post whenever you see it. Thanks again to all who’ve helped so far.
I know that things are bad all around, between the gov’t shutdown, the SNAP crisis and every other awful thing happening in the world at the moment, but we could really use some help again to keep our roof for the next week. Anything helps, even if it’s just sharing this post!

"'They’re spending more money than I would even tax them,' [Mamdani] said in an interview with MSNBC last week."

This is the message. Make it clear that these billionaires aren't just worried about losing money. They're worried about losing the ability to exchange their money for power.

As Mamdani nears victory, Democrats worry about national fallout

Zohran is terrific at this, but we should expect anyone running for office to be able to communicate their agenda thus effectively. The biggest takeaway from his campaign should be a higher standard for all political candidates nationwide.
