Why can disbarred lawyers file anything with SCOTUS, much less be read by them ?
John Eastman, who is up for disbarment in California and currently cannot file cases in CA courts (apps.calbar.ca.gov/attorney/Lic... ) has filed this amicus brief in the US Supreme Court seeking to stop states from accepting ballots arriving after election day:

No commitment to NATO’s Article 5

No real commitment to US allies, partners or friends in Asia

No world order at all, apparently…

just a might-makes-right rapproachment among strongmen (who are unlikely to maintain “stability” in Europe or Asia)

thinking they’ll just go along with US is naive

If you are wondering what words the all-male Congress found so "blasphemous" that they felt compelled to literally scrape them off the monument, they were: ''Woman, first denied a soul, then called mindless, now arisen, declared herself an entity to be reckoned.''
On this day in 1921, Congress reluctantly accepted a sculpture memorializing women’s 19th A victory. Congress relegated the memorial to the Capitol’s crypt & painted over the feminist inscription. The statue stayed entombed in the crypt for 76 years. The inscription is still not restored. #WeTheMen

True. Those in power are likely to ramp up agenda + lawlessness even more after the midterms (while still can + will then pardon)

And will continue to do so as long as Republicans pay no real price for such actions

Suing (making them pay actual $$, like Fox) is most likely response to work
Why write about the Greenland threat in the past tense?

An editorial choice that lies to the audience.

The Greenland threat - same with the Canada threat - continues as long as the GOP has access to real power.
U.S. lawmakers left the Munich Security Conference on Sunday confident they had patched the wound inflicted on the trans-Atlantic partnership by President Trump when he toyed with invading Greenland. But they conceded that Trump's threats had indelibly altered relations with Europe.

This was the exact opposite under Biden, where the US economy was dramatically outperforming the rest of the world
The Dow was at 43,488 when Trump took office. It just hit 50,000.

So if you had invested $43,488 in the US, you would now have $50,000. But if you had invested the same amount in the rest of the world, you would now be worth $60,000.

This message from the US State Department about "not wanting allies to be shackled by guilt and shame" is a pretty direct call-out to the German far-right argument that Germany has spent too long feeling guilty about the Holocaust, and needs to move on and stop doing remembrance.

The Department of Homeland Security pushed out the revamped tool while it was still adding data. That led to widespread misidentification, particularly for citizens born outside the U.S.

This is somewhat more of an old-fashioned ICE ruse. Arguably this is a sign of the agency going back to more standard “targeted enforcement” tactics designed to be not as disruptive as the more recent aggro-style arrests. Watch for more like this to come.
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.
