tbh i genuinely believe that people doing shit like breaking down narrative media into constituent "tropes" and actively pursuing media based around if it fulfills their preferred tropes and showing that you can market a work purely on it fulfilling those tropes was a precursor for AI slop media

this is nuts as wikipedia doesnt note boots being in japan and a guardian article reveals they *were* and left in 2001 so this bg render is presumably based off a street in japan *immediately* before they closed up there!?!
