Which always felt ironic to me as a little girl who grew up on the Disney seasons and especially loved the girls
Yeah, there were rumors of wanting to replace it with a cartoon version for years too.
They seemed to have hopes that they could use it as the "boys property" they made noise of wanting for years but clearly they felt Star Wars and Marvel were bigger gets in that regard.

I know all the various defenses of piracy, and can agree with some of them (preservation is important!) but when it comes to books, there really ain't any excuse I buy. More than any other medium, authors directly rely on royalties from purchases. Every purchase gets them income, even from big pubs.
Do not steal books, I beg. Borrow from a library. Libraries lend e-books!
