I'm not even close to be an actual game dev but I have some character ideas and a vague plot and something I do with my free is write stupid area conversations which is very fun

I mean literally the resolution to the main character's arc in Operation Overdrive is brought on by hearing his dad FINALLY say "I love you."

I don't know if this was Power Rangers specific or men circa 2003-2009 really needed to yell at their dads but it is fun on a rewatch

Like when Capt. Mitchell in Lightspeed gives vague instructions for no reason Carter has to learn to trust him, meanwhile I can point to at least three separate occasions off the top of my head Cruger in SPD was a dick to his subordinates and got called out and had to apologize

This reminds me of when the Wrinkle in Time remake came out and the lead girl was front and center on the poster and someone commented "don't we want boys to watch this too?" it's just ridiculous that people can conceive of girls liking "guy" stuff but not vice versa

The episode after this he also figures out how to turn everyone back from footballs with the power of science. There's also the episode where he breeds a living super plant in Zeo.

Rocky is actually astonishingly good at science and it's a consistent character trait
