Part of the reason that this happens is because Congressional Dems consistently prioritize civility over telling their white nationalist colleagues to eat glass.

If Ogles wants to be a gutter racist, then Democratic leadership should call him as much, to his face, on national television.
This is a shockingly racist call by a House Republican for Zohran Mamdani to be denaturalized and deported. But instead of being viewed as unserious, it's now being promoted and circulated by LibsOfTikTok, Benny Johnson and MAGA regulars.

Democrats need to understand that Republicans are serious.

Police Violence Erasure Problem: Focusing on protester violence often obscures state-initiated violence. As briefly mentioned in essay, 30+ journalists were reportedly injured by police in LA. Some research suggests police often escalate first, yet violence often gets blamed on protesters. See:
What I Saw in LA Wasn’t an Insurrection. It Was a Police Riot.
As Trump mobilizes the marines to quell an “insurrection” in LA, it’s essential to be clear about how the protests started and what actually happened.

Tonight, I'll go home and sleep in my bed. I have a lawyer, I'll get due process.

But Edgardo, whose arm was ripped from mine by ICE agents, has none of those things.

That's why I'll keep coming back to court, week after week, to make sure that people's rights are protected.

I truly believe we will look back at this attitude as *the* sickness of our political era.

It is an extremely basic fact, and has been for decades, that the vast majority of political violence in the US is committed by the right! You cannot solve a problem if you refuse to identify it.

Hi everyone

I was denied entry, detained, and deported from the USA over the last 48 hours because of my reporting on the Columbia student protests

I arrived back in Melbourne hours ago and had my phone handed back to me upon landing

Copaganda everywhere.

2 kids fell in a local pond. A neighbor paddled out to rescue them and had them safely ashore before EMS even arrived.

Boston local news uses a stock image of police cars for the thumbnail.
The police weren't even involved.

I have been watching the 2007 ABC Family drama "Greek" as a distraction lately.

They all have flip phones. There's no social media. The acting is horrible. It's glorious!

I never saw it when it aired, but I highly recommend it as some simple, mindless, nostalgia entertainment.

This past January, my 2011 Subaru with less than 100k miles on it was declared too dangerous to drive because the undercarriage had completely rusted out. I paid $10k for it in 2019 and I was offered $500 for it as scrap.
