Friends if you are a Christian now is the time to speak out about Christian Nationalism. There are both a national organization and in Michigan you can join us as we start in person local groups. I'll link to both groups in the comments.
"Anyone unwilling to work should not eat". Some Christians use this verse from Paul to justify cuts to gov food programs. If you have even a passing familiarity with the Bible this verse you know it is certainly nothing that Jesus ever said.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

They think we idolize the Clintons the way they idolize Trump.

They're wrong. So wrong.
Anyway, I think the move when Republicans say "come for our Trumpie and will go after Bill," is 🤷‍♀️.

They hope to turn this into a "both sides do it" thing. We deprive them of that by saying, "If Clinton did anything wrong, send his ass directly to prison and good riddance."

Cruelty is the point. SNAP recipients regularly have to recertify that they are eligible.

and SNAP fraud is rare. ( see first comment)

Cruelty and equating poor people with criminals is the plan.
Trump administration will require SNAP participants to reapply for benefits
Food aid recipients are already required to recertify their information regularly. But the move is part of USDA chief Brooke Rollins’ effort to overhaul the program.

These people... Brazen corruption. Baldface lying. Bullying behavior. Illegal acts. And the self promotion. An entire administration filled with folks you would never want to have any kind of relationship with.
“Hiding your friends as subcontractors is like playing hide the salami with the taxpayer”

When making Noem's $220,000,000 ad campaign, DHS bypassed the competitive bidding process, designed to prevent waste & corruption in federal contracts, to give the job to the husband of her spokesperson

You really gotta follow up on an underspecified claim like “we found 186k dead people.”

People die every day, and the government is always going to be some amount behind in working out the administrative consequences, but that doesn’t mean the deceased’s EBT accounts were somehow used for fraud.
Brooke Rollins: "SNAP is a broken program. SNAP is full of corruption. We found 186,000 dead people."

What? BTW killing people is never "pure"or "good".
Newsmax's Greg Kelly on US strikes on alleged drug boats: “It's totally legal. It's pure, it's good. And it has nothing to do with transgender.”

Pay attention. Cruelty is the point
This is far worse than anyone expected.

Trump's HUD plan would cut *two-thirds* of permanent housing and push as many as 170,000 formerly homeless people back onto the street—redirecting funds to work mandates, forced treatment, and encampment sweeps.

All as mass internment camps are being built.

Dems are extraordinarily powerful. They broke a system they have no control over. WOW
And there it is. They don’t want to release the dismal inflation or jobs numbers for October and are claiming that it’s the fault of Democrats.

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

I think Trump is jealous. And clueless.
Barack Obama is not making royalties on the ACA, commonly known as Obamacare. The ACA is a federal law, and former presidents or government officials do not receive royalties or any form of direct payment from legislation they sign into law.

Also, President reposted a post from a satirical website.
