The OTHER thing that Cass gets disqualifyingly wrong is her portrayal of the “affirmative” approach in trans care.
It does NOT mean *telling* kids they are trans. It means letting kids say for themselves what they are. This is so basic.

I run into similar things all the time- not bc homestuck- and inevitably when I think abt why, it's always one of two reasons
1- never heard it, only read it
2- FRENCH
