This morning, I blow dried my hair (rarity as I am not good at mornings). Got compliments all day. Pulled it up in a haphazard ponytail to clean my bathroom and left it up and uninspected to run and buy a bottle of prosecco. The checkout guy asked me (twice) if I/my day was ok.🫤

Not having looked into which Dems voted to end the shutdown, I assume they’re in “red”-ish states &/or not running for reelection. And I’m hoping it’s actual strategy. The Ds better ream Rs from now until Congress votes in favor of Americans & best not let up until the GOP is put in proper place.

One of my never-removed stainless steel hoops lost its ball while I had long Halloween nails & couldn’t replace it. The sub-plug I used lost one of its teeny rubber bands, so today I wore regular earrings bc my ears close up quick. Not up for fighting w tiny balls but can’t commit to daily earrings.
