You go from a big city to the biggest city, young and hungry and desperate to prove yourself. You meet a boy who never had to prove anything but decided he will anyway. He has a fast way of talking, connecting ideas together without space for you, and he is the most annoying person you’ve ever met

A reminder to folks who wish to donate to food pantries, it's a really good idea to call your local pantries and ask specifically what they need. This applies for shelters too.
Donating money does go further if you can because they pay far less for far more food and can get fresh produce & meat.
