I am terrified we are going to watch Yibo thrill seek more and more dangerous risks with fewer and fewer guardrails to keep him safe/best-trained/above water, and I have been trying to cope with that fear but I wouldn't say I'm coping *well*

This was such an underrated series! it did a lot of creative things and i'm sure it probably got unfairly compared to Joy of Life, which is a much different show, upon its release just because there's so much casting overlap. But SSS is almost JoL's thematic mirror opposite.
I've watched it numerous times, but it's still such a killer line - in Snow Sword Stride - when XFN is speaking to the scholar who tried to assassinate him, and he's like "I still don't know your name" but then seconds later is like "never mind, it doesn't matter" and walks off.
Just ... ouch, guy.

Tati's latest fad is clawing through the plastic bags I keep in the laundry room for lint, and earlier she clawed one in half and then batted it through the laundry room, into the kitchen, into the tea room, and all the way down the hallway to the other end of the house. Fortunately it was lintless!
every day at feeding time, Artemis trots eagerly into the kitchen, and every day, Tati barrels down the hallway and leaps on top of her. This is absolutely Tati's favorite part of the day.

I totally lost track of what time it was at feeding time today, so Artemis came and gently bumped my knee to get my attention. This is a clear, very positive sign that things are normalizing for her, since during this year of adjustment to Tati she had reverted back to more aggressive biting.
