None of this is “good faith political debate,” and it’s not a coincidence that all these outlets are suddenly interested in the same “discussion” at the same time.

Why decline all these chances to defend feminism? Because to participate would be accepting the premise that our rights and humanity are up for debate in the first place.

Once you’ve conceded that it’s reasonable to ask whether women’s equality was a mistake, you’ve already lost.

also objectively it's marginally screwing people in the highest cost of living areas, given that Congress appropriated it to be distributed for increased BAH, which is pegged to cost of living/locality, and is now being distributed evenly across the board
This is irresponsible framing. I don’t need an extra check for doing my job. A good portion of the military is already overcompensated.

@schiff.senate.gov has been hugely disappointing. I wonder if this political neutering is due to the donors he cultivated to get to the Senate
Trump has called for at least three of these senators to be thrown in prison. And they’re still voting for his agenda.

So why did @housedemocrats.bsky.social give Cuellar back his committee leadership position?
Three Democrats (Cuellar, Gonzalez, and Davis) joined the Republicans to pass Marjorie Taylor Greene's federal ban on gender affirming care through the House of Representatives.

It is repugnant that the federal government won't give people health care, but it will TAKE IT AWAY from trans people.
